The last two weeks of the summer library program have flown by!
Week 2 we learned about dragonflies and fireflies, ate snacks, and read In Enzo's Spendid Garden by Patricia Polacco.
Week 3, special guest Mr. Gary Reynolds from Concordia came and talked to us about bees and beekeeping. He left strawberry and cinnamon honey snacks for us to enjoy. Mr. Reynolds sells the honey he harvests locally in Concordia and at the Concordia Farmer's Market on Thursday evenings in Concordia.
